LOW B Mission

Here at League of Women Bassplayers (LOW B), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation based in Georgia, USA, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. LOW B supports high standards of bass artistry. Our philosophy concerning how we communicate high standards is based on the premise that all people possess artistic gifts that benefit society. Our goal is to create an environment that nurtures these treasures. Our Mission: LOW B is committed to the creation and promotion of bassists who are competent technicians, intelligent leaders and articulate activists by way of fellowship, performances, publications, scholarships and special events, that place women, including non-binary people who identify with the female bassist experience in all its varied forms, at the center of perspective. With this mission in mind, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend our activities.
